In the past, almost every pub had its own small brewery with its own beer. Depending on the origin and quantity of the hops, the prepared malt, and, above all, the hardness of the brewing water, the beers varied in taste and quality. This is how the typical local beers were created, all of which had one thing in common: they were naturally cloudy, i.e., unfiltered.

This is how our signature beers were created at Rüsselsheimer Bräu until 2025. Even though we now have our brewing done by a partner brewery in Hallerndorf according to a tried-and-tested recipe, the craftsmanship remains the same.
